Biography   

Peter Huessy is CEO & President of GeoStrategic Analysis, a Potomac, Maryland defense consulting company he founded in 1981.  He is also senior defense associate at the National Defense University Foundation at Ft. McNair in Washington, D.C. and a member of the Board of the National Center for Critical Incident Analysis. He is also a guest lecturer at the National War College, the Joint National Intelligence College, and the Institute of World Politics. He specializes in nuclear terrorism, missile defense, proliferation, nuclear deterrence, ams control, energy security, immigration and defense policy as well as Air Force programs and policies, with special knowledge of the Far East, especially Japan, China and the Republic of Korea. He is also host of an annual series of Congressional Breakfast Seminars on nuclear deterrence, missile defense and homeland and port security, now in its 25th year. He is a member of the Defense Secretary's Energy Task Force as well as the NDIA Energy Committee. He also specializes in Congressional and Legislative Affairs, and served as an appointee in both the Carter and Reagan administration. He attended the Columbia School of International Affairs and School of Law. He graduated from Beloit College in Wisconsin and studied in the Republic of Korea and Japan. He is a member of the Board of the maryland Taypayer's Associaiton and is an occassional columnist for the Washington Times and Frontiers of Freedom. He also worked on the staff of five US Senators.
